Creating medals for the OSU Foundation’s highest recognition for volunteer leaders.

Medalcraft Mint was honored to partner with the Oregon State University Foundation to create medals for their highest recognition for volunteer leaders. Megan Jaeger, of the OSU Foundation, explained to us that the recipients of this prestigious award typically have decades worth of volunteering for the Board of Trustees, supporting academic or athletic programs, and faculty as well as students at Oregon State University. She stated, “Some award recipients have been involved with OSU for over 40 years!”. 

The team at Medalcraft and the OSU Foundation worked together to create a medal that would be worthy of such a high honor. The outcome was a beautiful, 2.5″ brass medal with an antique finish and a pop of orange enamel all on a black neck ribbon. A cherrywood box was also included so recipients can display their medal with pride. 

While celebrating their 75th anniversary, the OSU Foundation awarded 5 honorees with these medals. Medalcraft would like to thank Megan and all of those involved at the OSU Foundation for allowing us to partner with them and create these special awards. Congratulations to all the recipients!
